Inside My Shoe

inside my shoeI chuckled when I saw this message. It reminded me of all the times this happened when I was walking to school.  It felt awful and even if I stopped to pull it back into place it simply slipped down again and again. That’s probably why I spend most of my time barefoot these days.

Sometimes caregiving feels like that. You get something straightened out only to discover in a few moments that things are sliding down again. Here, there is no need to walk around as if everything is fine. What you are doing is hard and you are doing the best you can. Blessed be.
