I picked this because it fits with being on vacation but can you imagine how often those in our care think this very thing? They seem to know when we aren’t looking and take the opportunity to get up to the most surprising things. I invite you to share something the person in your care did or does when you’re not looking.

My mom usually rummages around in the cabinets and jars on counters for cookies, candy, cakes or chips when I’m not around! Lol

Rodger would do that too. He also did his very best to avoid using his walker despite the very real danger of falling. I purchased a baby monitor with a large screen viewer I could carry with me anywhere in the house so I could keep him safe. For a long time he couldn’t figure out how I knew when he was not using it. He told the doctor, “I can’t get anything past a woman like this one.”
