Some men are heroes, some are scoundrels, others are ordinary mortals trying their best every day.
Today I honor three men who exemplify those words in one way or another.
Mike Carducci – My Hero
Bad Boy (grin) and Very Good Man, Drummer

Rodger Carducci – Rest In Peace
Farmer, Soldier, Poet

Harry Simpson – Rest In Peace
Soldier, Engineer, Wanderer

In honor of Father’s Day I invite you to post a picture and/or a few words about your father in the comment block below.

My father was an only son; his mother died in the late 80’s…she had Alzheimer’s Disease – probably before there was much known or said about it! He was active in the U.S. Army for over 20 years; was a loving father to 3 children, and was married to our mother, his sweetheart for 4o years (they celebrated their 40th anniversary about a month before he passed). My father was a Christian man, though he showed it in quiet ways; he exemplified the “fruits of the spirit” in every way. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to remember and share something about our fathers! (not sure how to post a photo on the comment!!)…

Barbara, You posted the comment just fine. There is an approval button I have to click on to keep SPAM from showing up. I was away for the weekend, just got to this today.
Thank you for sharing about your father. He sounds like a loving man. I know you miss him on Father’s Day and every day. Blessed be.
